"..Fruitful and Exciting Week.."
“Hi Valdi, the "Tri-market Total Trading Immersion" program has been extremely helpful. Although it has been a very difficult week that u guys picked to have the Immersion program, it certainly has been an eye opener and one is able to grasp the concepts much faster by following the vivid broadcasts.
A suggestion is that maybe following 3 markets at one go could be a bit tricky as it could lead to some confusion. I am not sure how many of the students actually trade the Dax. Maybe one should concentrate on the Bonds and the E-minis.
In short it has been a fruitful and exciting week for me during the trading immersion program. ”

"..Felt Like a One-on-One Session.."
Hello Valdi,
Although I was only able to attend 2 1/2 days last week, I was able to confirm what I had hoped I would.
Besides the fact that you taught a trading methodology, more importantly, you worked on trader psychology. This is where I was looking for help. While I suspected much of what I knew, these few days confirmed what I have learned in my short trading profession. The information I learned was invaluable and went along way toward boosting my confidence in my system. It is nice to see that I'm not the only one who takes a trade that didn't work even though all of the signals were there. Even more so, it lent a boost to my plan that re-entering a market just after a losing trade does make sense if the indicators indeed line up.
The highly interactive live training course was intuitive, honest, to the point, without hype and in my humble opinion, "Nothing but Net" (if you're a basketball fan) . I've taken several courses to help "shorten" my learning curve. Most only served to teach me what not to do. I've learned only a little from each of them. This week long session was thorough and informative. You've not taught us how to live for a day, you've taught us how to survive a career, learning to change, mold and evolve as the markets do and a daily basis .
I like the "can do" attitude you and Ron showed throughout the week. When minor problems arose you both rose to the challenge to fix them whether it was from minor HotComm issues to unforeseen guest speaker issues.
What I liked:
- Highly interactive
- Informed, knowledgeable and confident instructors
- HotComm's live showing of trade setups
- Easy to listen to instructors since you both have excellent presentation skills
- What I felt was a very personal touch by having a no-nonsense approach and a great sense of humor
- Many questions asked to keep students thinking and planning the next move
- The ability to make it feel like a one on one session rather than a large group
Thanks, for a great few days I was able to attend. I'm really looking forward to the next session.
Also, I'm fairly sure I'll be attending February session offered in Chicago it's on my schedule.”
Take care,

"I Can't Imagine a Better Trading Course!"
“Dear Valdi and Ron,
Your 5 day live trading workshop was great. I had spent two days in Chicago and two days with the November live broadcast and still didn't have the feel for the system. I now feel that I can successfully trade the methodology. There were several things I learned which I will share.
I want to acknowledge that I didn't always follow your management of a trade and say up front, had I, I would have probably had a successful trading week. That would have been amazing, given the difficult trading week. I didn't keep track of your trades, but I suspect you guys were ahead at the end of the week.
It was great to see the two of you with different styles (Ron rings the cash register sooner) trade through the week . It gives us permission, within the system, to trade according to our comfort levels. I also enjoyed Ron identifying a scalp trade (strb) in bonds and telling us exactly what his target was.. It was successful!
Overall, I am very excited about trading your system and look forward to every opportunity to join you on live broadcasts. I can't imagine a better trading course!”
Sincerely,
D.H., Boulder , CO

"..Extremely Helpful.."
"The Tri-market Total Trading Immersion was extremely helpful in a number of different ways. First, it exposed me to trading a couple of new markets that I have not been trading with the RS method, namely Bonds and the Dax . It was helpful to hear commentary on how to trade other markets that differ from the S&P. It was also very helpful to hear immediate feedback on the various trade setups while they were occurring .
I think that for anyone seriously learning to trade the RS method should consider taking the Tri-market Total Trading Immersion if they want to seriously learn to trade in a real time environment."

"..The Information Scattered Throughout Your Dialogue is f#$%^ing Gold. Period."
“I'm impressed with your humble nature and appreciate the way your personality helps me to learn more efficiently.. ..Your pre-game warm up and routine helped me to put a structure to the entire trading process, just like the way your methodology puts structure to the entry and exit parameters. Your evaluation of the market conditions and all the little details that you consider before choosing to execute a setup is a huuuge bonus - in fact, I believe this information along with the information that both you and Ron offer regarding reasons why you are NOT choosing a setup - is more valuable than the methodology. this is why I chose to tape our sessions on the camtasia software (thanks for the recommendation) so that I can repeat this info until it becomes part of my budding trading brain. You should consider taping one session a week, editing it (doesn't take too long) , and offering it as part of your monthly subscription. That would be an unbeatable business model. Ron, the way you babble and explain what you are thinking about in such an unscripted way is incredibly helpful. I would like to see you try to slow your explanations a litte because the information scattered through your dialogue is f#$%^ing gold. period . (would you like me to sit for one of your testimonials ?)
Anyway, I chose this business so that i wouldn't have to kiss anybodys' a** EVER AGAIN so "you guys" are out of luck.
I would like to send you a few lobsters as a small token of my appreciation so let me know where to send them. They are quite possibly the only irrefutable reason to live in the northeast.
Looking forward to meeting you in Chicago”

"..A Wonderful Learning Experience.."
Dear Ron and Valdi,
I very much enjoyed the "Tri-market Total Trading Immersion " program. I was able to trade the T-Bonds and the Dax for the first time. In fact, I was able to start trading again after stopping for several months.
I stopped trading due to losses that were the result of not following the RS of Houston methodology. During the time I was not trading, my wife and I paper-traded the methodology with great (paper) success. I have been working on the mental aspects of trading.
The week long presentation served as an overall review and a wonderful learning experience. I had no problems at all with the HotCom transmission as the audio and visuals were always clear and I was never disconnected. The Bonds and Dax coverage were great and I found the positive psychological coaching during the entire broadcast to be of great benefit.
Altogether the week long program provided a realistic and common sense approach to trading. Thank you and don`t forget to e-mail a password for this week`s broadcast.

"Very Instructive"
“Ron and Valdi,
I haven't begun live trading yet since initially taking the August seminar in Denver. And unfortunately, due to work requirements, I was able to pay attention to maybe 50% of the sessions last week. But participating in the weeklong Internet webcast helped refresh the principles you taught. I had taken part in one of the previous CE sessions, but this was a completely different experience. To be able to see what you were doing as well as hearing your thoughts and comments was very instructive.
I have been paper trading the e-minis for a couple hours a morning or two a week and have been frustrated by the inactivity. Watching the three markets helped contrast the action.
One of the particular features I especially liked was the interactive messaging that hotComm allowed. Even though the audience couldn't physically speak, if there were multiple queries from one member, they could be answered to the questioner's satisfaction in a back-and-forth manner . Email couldn't facilitate that.
I look forward to further sessions.
Thanks.”

"..Excellent Initiative. .I Only Missed a Few Hours the Whole Week!"
“Dear Ron and Valdi,
I think the Total Trading Immersion Week was an excellent initiative, and I only missed a couple of hours the whole week! It was also the first broadcast for me, so I can't compare with the two-day Continuing Education broadcasts yet, but the advantage with a five-day broadcast of course is that you get greater statistical averaging of market behaviour, and that your methodology wisdom gets transmitted more forcefully.
Seeing the chart evolve bar-by-bar is very good to get prepared for an entry setup or to follow your comments on managing a trade in progress. Using the zone feature of the software SnagIt, I took quite a few snapshots of the screen during the seminar and annotated them with your comments at the corresponding times. Another thing I particularly liked about the live broadcast is that we students can follow your thinking about a market situation that gradually changes from one entry setup, gets invalidated and becomes another setup, e g 10/20 MAZe sell to RB sell in the intermediate region to 40/47 MAZe sell to invalidation of sell mode (assuming in this case that none of the entry stop orders got filled).
The ability to ask questions by chat I think is the perfect format. It made it simpler for me to check that I had well understood various points of your methodology and also created some group feeling, as I saw the questions from the other participants show up on the screen. On the other hand, if we all had microphones, it might get a little distracting for you. This way, you can take the questions a little later if you are in the midst of a trade, for instance. Thank you so much for your outstanding dedication to answering all of our questions.
I think the market situation during some days was less than favourable.. ..but I believe that the methodology as such will show positive results on average, and I feel more confidence in applying the methodology in independent trades fairly soon .
The talk with Jake Bernstein was remarkable. One thing he said which I particularly remember is that it is better to lose a trade respecting the methodology than to win a trade not respecting it. The cockpit metaphor was also very vivid.”

"..Extremely Valuable Week"
Dear Ron and Valdi,
I found the weeklong broadcast extremely valuable for a number of reasons. First, and most importantly, was the fact that each of you gave a constant running commentary of what you saw in the market during your respective sessions. This was so much more than an individual could ever get from a book , course or mentor . The opportunity to listen to professional traders who have been trading for many years in many market situations interpret what was happening and how it might affect the trade in several minutes was eye opening. I now have a much better understanding why I might not want to take a trade even though the methodology signals a setup. By participating in the workshop for almost 40 hours, by the end of the week, I found my mind working more closely with your thought processes.
Equally valuable, was how each of you reacted to losses and poor market trading days. These are topics that don't frequently come up during in any kind of instruction but they are certainly consistent parts of any traders life. I found seeing how you react to a situation much more valuable than reading a psychological discourse on how to have discipline, patience and resilience while trading.
Another part of the program that I found beneficial was the way you used the different time charts to read the market more effectively. With all there is to think about while trading I felt that switching to 15 minute charts and hourly charts was confusing but after seeing you do it about 10 times and how it helped you make some nice trades now it makes sense to me. It certainly helps when it looks like the market is making a top or bottom on the longer time frame charts and brings more commonsense to your methodology when considering a countertrend trade on the 5 minute chart.
I am looking forward to your sessions this week. Thank you for the extremely valuable week.
